7.4/10

My stay at Hilton Boston Back Bay had its ups and downs. While the location was excellent, offering easy access to attractions like the Esplanade and Copley Square, my experience with the staff varied significantly. The check-in process initially seemed smooth, as I received a room upgrade, but there were instances of poor communication and lack of attentiveness later on. Overall, I appreciated some aspects, but there’s room for improvement.

Rooms
7.0
The room was clean and spacious, providing a comfortable environment for my stay. However, it faced an apartment building, limiting the view.
Service

While some staff were exceptionally helpful, I experienced inconsistency in service quality, especially during check-out. My interaction with front desk staff was not always pleasant.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location is fantastic, being within walking distance to many local attractions, including the Prudential Center and Fenway Park, making it a great choice for exploring Boston.
Dining

Dining options were somewhat limited and the breakfast hours did not align well with our plans. I found the pricing to be on the high side for the offerings.
Facilities

The fitness center is well-equipped, although a bit hot during my visit. I found the amenities to be standard but functioning well.

5.2/10

My stay at the Hilton Boston Back Bay had its ups and downs. While the location was perfect for exploring the city and the check-in process was efficient, I faced some issues with cleanliness in the bathroom and the overall noise level from the outside. However, the staff was attentive and helpful, which made for a pleasant experience overall. 🌆

Rooms
7.0
The room was modern and clean, with comfortable bedding that ensured a good night's sleep. However, the bathroom amenities were dated, and I encountered low water pressure in the shower.
Service
8.0
The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating, making check-in a breeze, though I found it odd that there were no bellmen available to assist with luggage.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location was fantastic, just a short walk to Fenway Park and surrounded by great dining options and shops, making it easy to explore Boston on foot.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was complimentary for status members and surprisingly good, though I wouldn't pay full price for it. The variety was decent, with some standout items like smoked salmon and tasty baked goods.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel offered standard amenities like a fitness center and room service, but an improved system for Uber pickups and faster elevators would enhance the experience.

6.4/10

During my stay at Hilton Boston Back Bay, I encountered a mix of positives and negatives. The location is excellent, ideal for exploring Boston, and the check-in process was friendly but slow. While my room was comfortable and clean with ample space, I found the dining options disappointing, especially since the main restaurant was closed. Overall, the experience fell short of what I'd expect from a Hilton, leading to a lower rating.

Rooms
7.0
I appreciated the room's cleanliness and comfort, featuring a spacious layout and a large TV. However, the decor felt a bit dark and depressing due to the black color scheme, which didn't enhance the ambiance, especially in winter.
Service
6.0
The staff were generally helpful, but the initial check-in experience left something to be desired due to a lack of friendliness from one of the front desk clerks. The waitstaff in the bar area seemed untrained and struggled to provide good service.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location is fantastic, within walking distance to many attractions and restaurants, making it perfect for exploring Boston. Being close to a T station also adds to its convenience.
Dining
5.0
I was disappointed with the dining options; the main restaurant was closed, limiting choices to the bar with a poor menu. The breakfast offered was not worth the price, and there were many missed opportunities for better offerings.
Facilities
6.0
While the facilities were adequate, amenities like the bar and room service could be improved for a more fulfilling experience. The lack of ice machines on each floor and the process to obtain ice felt outdated.

I had a pleasant stay at Hilton Boston Back Bay, particularly enjoying the clean and comfortable room with a lovely view of the city. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my experience even better. However, parking was quite expensive, adding to the overall cost of my stay. Additionally, the steep parking garage made it difficult for my vehicle, which was a bit of a hassle.

Rooms

The room I stayed in was spacious, modern, and very clean, offering a comfortable bed that ensured a restful night. I appreciated the view from the 26th floor, showcasing landmarks like the Charles River and Fenway Park.

Location

The hotel's location is ideal, close to various attractions like Newbury Street and Fenway Park, which I could easily walk to. Plus, the nearby shopping and dining options were a major plus.
Dining

I had breakfast in the executive lounge, which was quite lovely, and enjoyed drinks at the bar, but I found the pricing for food a bit high. Still, the bar staff were friendly and attentive.
Facilities

The amenities were well-maintained, and I appreciated the access to soft drinks and snacks in the lounge. However, I did encounter a parking mishap due to the steep grade of the garage.

I had an overall great experience at Hilton Boston Back Bay, particularly enjoying the convenient location that was close to the Esplanade and various attractions. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, especially during check-in and in the Diamond Lounge. However, the breakfast offerings were somewhat basic, lacking the quality one might expect from a Hilton. Still, the combination of my spacious room, helpful staff, and comfortable beds made for a pleasant stay! 😊

Rooms
9.0
The King Premium room on the 22nd floor offered a stylish and spacious retreat with modern features and an expansive view. I appreciated the comfortable king-sized bed and quiet HVAC. However, the bathroom was a bit small compared to the room size, yet it included a nice glass stall shower.
Service
10.0
The hotel staff was really good, from the warm greeting at check-in by Alexis to the attentive service in the Diamond Lounge. They were quick to accommodate requests and genuinely seemed to care about making my stay enjoyable.
Location
10.0
Centrally located, the hotel was a short 20-minute walk from the Esplanade, close to Fenway Park, and surrounded by great restaurants and shops. It made getting around Boston very easy.
Dining
7.0
The breakfast in the Diamond Lounge had a decent selection, but it felt quite basic for a Hilton, and I wish there were more variety and freshly baked items. It was satisfactory for complimentary status members but not worth the retail price.
Facilities
8.0
I didn't get a chance to use the fitness center, but it looked well-equipped, which is a plus for future stays. The hotel also offered convenient self-parking, although it was priced at $50 per day.
